Ancient Egyptian Whack-A-Mole? And a Tardis?

No seriously. They have it at the British Museum:

Now that I have your attention. That's what we did Saturday. Along with a visit to the Queen's Gallery (which will have it's very own post when I have more time), and the Royal Mews. Sunday we went here:

Then we went here :(

And rounded out the afternoon with the promised: TARDIS!

The Albert memorial! Yay!! It's all gold and sparkly...I think...I haven't actually seen it since I was seven, but it's probably sparkly... Ah well, can't WAIT for the Queen's Gallery post. :D

It's VERY sparkly! Very shiny too! Beware of visiting on a sunny (haha) day, you'll go BLIND with V's love for A! (either that or I didn't get enough sleep last night...) But yes, it's very impressive and I'm very glad I've finally seen it. I wish people still made pretty things... Look for the Queen's Gallery post sometime this weekend!

I've just been and come back and OH MY GOLLY GOSH IT WAS AMAZING!! We went to loads of random places, saw all the people arriving for the garden party at the palace, got drenched in a downpour, spent 2 hours eating jacket potatoes and had possibly the fastest visit ever to the V&A. :)

Can you teach me how to be as amazingly confident as you in photos? ;p Seriously, though, that always blows me away in your photos, and is probably part of why you're such an amazing artsy person! :)
